A client known as the agency since they required some help catching an individual who was stealing from them. The client told us that every now and again an individual stealing washing from their washing line. The clothes were put out inside the morning and left to dry all day whilst they were out at function. The items of clothing ranged from costly jeans and trousers to knickers and bras. The client was quite embarrassed but could not function out how this was happening as the garden was totally enclosed by a really high brick wall. The only method to access the garden was via the house. Our client was the only individual having a important other than her next door neighbour who was just as baffled.
We discussed a couple of solutions to our client and she went with all the idea of a covert camera pointing into the garden. Once we could see a pattern with the days of theft we would send a couple of operatives in to question the thief. Our client said that they only took high-priced items and she stated that she was getting trouble with claiming on her insurance as they didn't think her.
We decided to put the camera in for three weeks to give us the top achievable chance of catching the theft. Once we had the recordings back from the lab we were surprised to see that it was the next door neighbour’s boyfriend. He would look out with the bedroom window when each his girlfriend and our client had gone to function. If there was anything worth taking he would let himself in the front door and go by means of towards the back to get his booty. He had never been discovered ahead of because practically all the occupants in the street were at work when he went towards the neighbour’s house. Also he was a handy man so any individual seeing him go in would assume he was doing some function for our client.
